After the crushing defeat in Bihar Assembly elections, now preparations for internal surgical strike in Rashtriya Janata Dal have been completed. The party leadership has decided to take strict action against the insiders who lost the elections. According to sources, many big names associated with the party may face trouble in the next few days. The command of this strict action is directly in the hands of party supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav.
Round of division wise review meetings completed
The party had organized division-wise meetings to thoroughly review the reasons due to which RJD had to face defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections. These meetings were completed on Tuesday with the final review meeting of Patna division. Before this, detailed brainstorming was held with state, district and block level officials of the party in all the divisions.
Expert committee submitted report
The expert committee constituted by RJD has submitted its formal review report to the state president. This report will now be submitted to party supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav. The report has clearly identified those leaders, officials and workers who are accused of insider trading, remaining inactive or helping opposition parties during the elections.
Disciplinary action will start soon
Party sources say that based on the review report, disciplinary action will soon be initiated against the identified people. This may include major steps like removal from party post, expulsion from primary membership and deprivation of electoral responsibilities.
What happened in the meeting of Patna division?
The District President, Principal General Secretary and other senior officials of Patna Division were present in the final review meeting held in Patna on Tuesday. This point was particularly highlighted in this meeting that due to organizational weakness in many areas and lack of support from within, the party suffered direct losses.
Lalu-Tejashwi’s strict message
The party leadership has given a clear indication that now there will be no room for betrayal and double standards in the organization. Tejashwi Yadav has already said from many forums that the leaders who break the trust of the public and the party will not be spared. At the same time, Lalu Prasad Yadav is also in the mood to take ruthless but necessary decisions to strengthen the organization again.
