Special Train: Big decision of Northern Railway, in case of flight cancellation, special Vande Bharat Express will run on 12-14 December

Special Train: Jammu Division of Northern Railway has announced relief for the passengers troubled by the continuous cancellation of flights. In view of the increasing rush of passengers and emergency situations, the Divisional Administration has decided to run special Vande Bharat Express in three trips between New Delhi – Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur) – New Delhi. This special train will be operated from 12 December to 14 December 2025.

New Delhi to Udhampur: Train No. 02439

This Vande Bharat will leave from New Delhi at 06:00 am and will reach Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Station (Udhampur) at 02:00 pm. The train will have stops en route: Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Pathankot Cantt and Jammu Tawi.

Udhampur to New Delhi: Train No. 02440

In return, the train will depart from Udhampur at 03:00 pm and reach New Delhi at 11:00 pm. Stops en route will be: Jammu Tawi, Pathankot Cantt, Ludhiana and Ambala Cantt.

Special Vande Bharat will run with 20 coaches

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Utpi Singhal said that passengers were facing great inconvenience due to frequent cancellation of flights. In such a situation, this special train will prove helpful in reaching the passengers to their destination on time. He informed that the train will be operated with 20 coaches.
