Again threat to bomb many famous schools in Delhi, administration came into action
Bomb Threat: The series of bomb threats in the schools of the capital Delhi is not stopping. Once again some schools in East Delhi received a bomb threat email, causing panic among the staff and students. This time Lovely Public School located in Laxmi Nagar and AHLCON International School in Mayur Vihar came under the grip of this threat.
The Indian School on Josip Broz Tito Marg received a threatening email on Wednesday morning. As soon as the message was received, the school administration immediately sent information to the parents and implemented a plan to drop the children safely as per the scheduled time. The parents reached school on time and all the children returned home without any chaos.
Ahalcon International School in Mayur Vihar also received a similar threatening email. As a precautionary measure, the school dismissed the children at 11:30 in the morning. In the notice issued, parents were appealed to maintain coordination with the van drivers, so that no child is left alone.
Lakshmi Nagar and Sadiq Nagar schools also on target
According to police, several schools in East Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar and South Delhi’s Sadiq Nagar areas have also received similar threat emails. As soon as the information was received, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot and started searching all the premises.
Last week Delhi University also received threat
It is noteworthy that last Wednesday itself, Deshbandhu College and Ramjas College had also received a bomb threat email. There also the Bomb Disposal Squad and Dog Squad conducted an extensive search operation, but no suspicious item was found.
High alert after blast near Red Fort
Security has already been tightened in Delhi after the recent explosion near the Red Fort in which more than 10 people died. For this reason, today schools immediately took precautionary measures without wasting any time. Delhi Police said, “All threats are being thoroughly investigated. In most of the cases, these threats have been proven to be fake, but we are not taking any risks.”
Ajmer Sharif Dargah also received threat
The Dargah of Khwaja Garib Nawaz located in Ajmer, Rajasthan was also threatened to be bombed. A similar email was also received from Ajmer Collectorate. After receiving information about the threat, a thorough investigation of the Collectorate premises was conducted, but no suspicious object or explosive was found. Collector Lokbandhu confirmed the threat. The Dargah complex was evacuated due to security reasons. This is the first time in the history of Ajmer that the Dargah complex was evacuated twice within seven days. Police team, bomb disposal squad and dog squad conducted an intensive search operation in the collectorate. Even before this, last week the Collectorate had received a similar threatening email.
Rajasthan High Court threatened for the fourth time
Rajasthan High Court in Jaipur once again created a stir in the campus after receiving a bomb threat email for the third consecutive day. This is the fourth case in six days, in which the security of the court has been challenged. As soon as information about the threat was received, the court building was evacuated and an intensive search operation was conducted in the premises. Due to the threat, the courts had to be evacuated again, which affected the hearing of cases for the third day. Police officials said that the help of central agencies will be taken in investigating the case. Expressing displeasure over this incident, the lawyers said that the administration and the government will have to take strict steps to stop such incidents.
