Material
- Drumsticks / Pods – 3 to 4 (cut into pieces)
- Onion – 1 (finely chopped
- Garlic – 4 to 5 cloves (crushed)
- Tomato – 1 (chopped)
- Ghee or oil – 1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Water – 4 cups
- Coriander – for garnish

- For this, first wash the pods and cut them into pieces. Heat water in a pot and add pulses. Boil them until they are nice and soft. After the pods are cooked, take them out and while they are still hot, scrape out the insides with a spoon or your hands. Discard the outer skin.
- Now heat ghee or oil in a pan. Add garlic and onion and saute gently. A little onion
- When it becomes transparent, add tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft.
- Then add the removed drumstick gar and stir the mixture well. Now add the water in which the pulses have been boiled. Mix together the salt and black pepper powder.
- Allow all this mixture to boil on low flame for 8–10 minutes. The taste was perfectly balanced.
- After the soup cools down a bit, blend it lightly in a blender. Blend until smooth without blending too thick.
- Heat the blended mixture again on gas for 2 minutes. Adjust consistency by adding little water if required.
- Finally ladle the above soup into a hot bowl and garnish with cilantro.
