Accident News in Marathi: A terrible road today (December 11, 2025) in Anjav district of Arunachal Pradesh accident done A truck carrying laborers fell down a mountain into a deep ravine in Chakalagam area. There were a total of 22 workers, all of whom died. According to reports, 19 of these workers were residents of Gilapukuri Tea Estate in Assam’s Tinsukia district. According to information received, the truck fell down a hill near Meteliang on the Hailong-Chaklagam road while the laborers were on their way to a road construction site. 22 workers were in it at the time of the accident. Passers-by saw the truck falling into the valley and informed the nearest police station. Police and fire brigade teams reached the spot and started rescue operations.

So far 19 workers have been identified: Budheshwar Deep, Rahul Kumar, Sameer Deep, John Kumar, Pankaj Manki, Ajay Manki, Vijay Kumar, Abhay Bhumij, Rohit Manki, Birendra Kumar, Agar Tatichi, Dhiren Chetia, Rajni Nag, Deep Goula, Ramchabak Sonar, Sonatan Nag, Sanjay Kumar, Karan Kumar and Jonas Munda. All the 19 workers were residents of Gelapukhuri Tea Estate in Tinsukia, Assam.
The area where the truck fell into the ditch is said to be a remote area far from the city. The police was informed about the accident till very late. According to media reports, it took the police 18 hours to reach the spot, after which rescue operations began. By the police So far 13 bodies have been recovered. Nine others are missing. None of them are likely to survive. Police are actively looking for them.
