Methi Paratha Puri Recipe
First step- To make fenugreek paratha and puri, first pick fresh green fenugreek leaves. Remove the thick stalks of fenugreek and chop the leaves finely. Now wash fenugreek thoroughly in water 2-3 times. Now take a pan and put washed fenugreek in it and steam it for some time. You can steam in a pan or cooker. This will soften the fenugreek and make it easier to knead into flour.
Second step- When the fenugreek cools down a bit, mash it a little with a masher or a glass or a spoon. Now take 1-2 cups of flour or as per quantity of fenugreek and add mashed fenugreek to it and mix. If you need to add some water while applying fenugreek flour, you can add it. If you like fenugreek in large quantities, then knead the dough with only fenugreek. While kneading the dough, add 1 teaspoon oil, salt, ground cumin and red or green chilli.
Third step- Now keep the dough to set for some time. Turn on the gas and prepare Paratha Puri as per your choice and bake it. Fenugreek parathas and puris prepared in this way taste very tasty. You can prepare and eat these for breakfast. You can give it to children in tiffin because in this way the bitterness of fenugreek goes away and children also like these parathas. These parathas can be eaten with green coriander chutney or sauce.
