IND vs SA 2nd Match Report: South Africa defeated India by 51 runs in Mullapur. In this match, Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and invited South Africa to bat. Batting first, he made a huge score of 213 runs for India. In response, Team India was all out for 162 runs in 19.1 overs. In this match, wicketkeeper batsman Kinton de Kock was the hero of South Africa’s victory. At the same time, India’s poor bowling was the main reason for its defeat.

Quinton de Kock’s explosive innings

South Africa scored a huge score of 213 runs against India in Mullanpur. The main reason behind this was the explosive batting of Quinton de Kock. Opener Quinton de Kock batted brilliantly, but missed a century. He scored 90 runs in 46 balls, which included five fours and seven sixes. Batting first after losing the toss, De Kock added 38 runs with Reeza Hendricks (8).

Quinton de Kock then increased the pressure on the Indian bowlers by adding 83 runs for the second wicket with captain Aiden Markram (29). Chakravarthy dismissed Markram in the 12th over, while De Kock was run out in the 16th over. Dewald Brevis scored 14 runs in 10 balls, who was sent to the pavilion by Akshar Patel in the 17th over. In the last overs, David Miller (20*) and Donovan Ferreira (30*) made a quick partnership of 53 runs for the fifth wicket, taking the team beyond 200. Miller hit two fours and a six, while Ferreira hit one four and three sixes.

India’s poor bowling

The bowlers became the main reason for India’s defeat in this match. Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh proved to be the most expensive. Bumrah gave away 45 runs in his four overs, while Arshdeep increased the pressure on the team by giving away 54 runs. Talking about wickets, Varun Chakraborty took 2 wickets and Akshar Patel took 1 wicket.

Apart from Tilak Verma, all the batsmen were flops.

Team India’s batsmen, who came to chase 213 runs by South Africa, performed disappointingly. Only Tilak Verma completed his fifty in excellent style. He played an excellent inning of 62 runs in 34 balls. Apart from Tilak, no other batsman could even touch the 30-run mark. Shubhman Gill, Abhishek Sharma and captain Suryakumar Yadav proved unsuccessful in giving a good start to Team India. Poor batting also became another reason for Team India’s defeat.

South African bowlers performed brilliantly in Mullanpur T20. Otniel Bartman shook the Indian batting by taking 4 wickets. Whereas, Lungi Edgini, Marco Jansen and Lutho Sipamla took two wickets each. India’s famous batsmen were seen struggling in front of the strong performance of South African bowlers.
