Ranchi’s Jaya brought glory to India on the international stage, represented Sri Lanka in this program

Ranchi: Jaya, daughter of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, has once again hoisted the flag of the country and the state on the global stage. Jaya participated as the official representative of India in the high-level global conference on International Human Rights Day 2025 held in Sri Lanka. This program was organized in collaboration with the United Nations, in which the presence of representatives of 12 countries including the former President of Sri Lanka and the Home Minister made it historic. Jaya Raj has been a student of Delhi Public School, Ranchi and is a computer engineer by profession. She is the great-granddaughter of Shaheed Pandey Ganpat Rai, daughter of Dr. Vandana Rai and Dr. Rajesh Kumar Lal.

The conference witnessed wide-ranging discussions on key issues such as human rights protection, gender equality, youth leadership and global peace. From this platform, Jaya effectively presented India’s policies, progressive approach and the work being done at the grassroots level. His balanced and powerful presentation was highly appreciated by the international delegates.

There is an atmosphere of happiness in entire Jharkhand including Ranchi due to this historic achievement of Jaya. Local public representatives, teachers and social organizations congratulated Jaya and said that she has set an inspiring example for the young generation of the state.

Jaya dedicated her success to the country and the state and said that it is a proud moment for her. She said that she will continue to remain dedicated to strengthening India’s voice at the global level in the human rights field.
