A meeting was held under the chairmanship of DM regarding the upgradation of public facilities in municipal bodies.

Balrampur. A detailed review meeting regarding beautification of municipal bodies, cleanliness and upgradation of public facilities was held in the Collectorate Auditorium on Wednesday under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Vipin Kumar Jain. Honorable Chairman of Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayats, executive officers and officials of related departments were present in the meeting. In the meeting, the District Magistrate said that cleanliness, beautification of the urban area and streamlining the traffic system are among the top priorities of the administration. He directed that all the municipal bodies should provide a beautiful and clean look to the main roads, intersections and important places in their respective areas through attractive wall painting, theme-based rope lights and landscaping.

DM said that such works will not only enhance the image of the city but will also become a medium to increase public awareness. In the meeting, the District Magistrate directed all the municipal bodies to identify and develop vending zones. He said that with the arrangement of vending zones, irregular shops will be removed from the roadside, which will improve the traffic system and provide convenience to the general public. Along with this, DM gave strict instructions that municipalities and nagar panchayats should completely control their areas.

Keep it free from encroachment. He said that regular campaigns should be run to remove encroachments and special monitoring should be done at such places where the problem of encroachment arises again and again. In the meeting, chairmen of various municipal bodies also put forward local problems and suggestions, on which the District Magistrate directed the concerned officers to take necessary action and time bound solution. He said that coordination between public representatives and administration is very important in development works and all the schemes should be completed with quality within the stipulated time period.

Chairman Municipality Balrampur Shash Dhirendra Pratap Singh Dhiru, Chairman Municipality Utraula, Chairman Nagar Panchayat Pachpedwa, Gansadi, Chairman Representative Tulsipur, ADM Finance and Revenue Jyoti Rai and all executive officers and other concerned employees were present in the meeting.
