Khaleda Zia’s condition worsens, shifted to ventilator support, Bangladesh on high alert

Khaleda Zia in Ventilator Support: Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia’s health suddenly deteriorated on Thursday night. When his condition deteriorated, doctors put him on ventilator support. Dr. Shahabuddin Talukdar, chief cardiologist of the medical board, said that Khaleda Zia was having difficulty in breathing. His oxygen level was continuously falling and carbon dioxide in the body was increasing.

First, an attempt was made to give him breathing with the help of nasal cannula and BiPAP machine, but when there was no improvement, he had to be shifted to the ventilator, so that his lungs and other vital organs could get rest. 80-year-old Khaleda Zia has been admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka since November 23. A plan was made to take Khaleda Zia to London for better treatment.

Jiya was under the supervision of private doctors

Till now his personal doctor and BNP leader Dr AZM Zahid Hussain had been giving information about his health to the media. But for the first time, the medical board of the hospital has issued an official statement explaining his condition in detail. According to the information, preparations to take Jiah to London for treatment are almost complete.

But party BNP said that due to technical fault the plane could not reach on time. Apart from this, doctors said that Khaleda Zia is not completely capable of traveling for a long time.
