An elderly woman’s house was vandalized in Maharajpur area.
Kanpur. In Rampur village of Maharajpur police station area of Kanpur, the house of an elderly woman was vandalized by a neighboring youth, during which gold jewelery and Rs 2700 in cash went missing from the house, the police started investigating the case, the victim, elderly woman Anusuiya Singh, told that her husband has passed away, and she lives with her son Sandeep, when she went out of the house on Wednesday.
Then their son Sandeep was alone at home, and was making eggs for himself. Meanwhile, the neighboring youth Lalit Singh came to their house and started talking about forcefully feeding them the eggs, what was said, after the altercation, the accused youth left after giving threats. Around 9 or 10 pm, the accused youth Lalit Singh again reached the house of the elderly woman, he broke the doors of the room, and threw all the kitchen utensils in the street, while some of them were thrown in the pond. Vandalized the house, and also broke the bicycle kept in the house into many pieces.
According to the victim, during this vandalism, her gold jewelery and Rs 2700 in cash went missing, the villagers tried to stop the accused Lalit Singh but he did not agree and continued vandalizing, when the elderly woman Anusuiya Singh returned home, she saw that her entire house was destroyed, she immediately informed the police about the incident, Maharajpur police station in-charge Inspector Rajesh Kumar said that the complaint has been received and the matter is being investigated. Necessary action will be taken after investigation.
