The right way to do it (Step-by-Step)

You do not need to be a yoga expert to do this. Just follow these easy steps:

  1. First of all, stand straight in a quiet place. Keep a small distance (gap) between your two legs.
  2. Now interlock the fingers of both your hands.
  3. Slowly inhale and take your hands above the head, palms facing the sky.
  4. Now the real work begins. Slowly lift your heels and stand on your toes.
  5. Pull your body upward (as if someone is pulling you from above).
  6. Stay in this position for 10 to 20 seconds and keep breathing normally. Then slowly bring the heels down.

Caution: If you have severe pain in your knees, are suffering from low blood pressure (Low BP) or are feeling dizzy, then do not do this asana or do it with the support of the wall.
