IND vs SA: Yesterday the second match of the series was played between India and South Africa in Mullanpur. In this match, the Indian team had to face a crushing defeat by 51 runs. With this victory, South Africa has leveled the T20 series at 1-1. The Indian team, which had achieved a strong victory in the first match, could not maintain this momentum. Batting first, South Africa set a target of 213 runs, in response to which the Indian team was limited to 162 runs. The main reason behind this defeat was the flop show of the Indian top order.
Top order failed
In the big run chase, Indian team’s top order batsmen Shubhman Gill (0 runs), Abhishek Sharma (17 runs) and Suryakumar Yadav (5 runs) were out early. The team could not recover from the pressure after losing 3 wickets for 32 runs. This collapse of the top order while chasing a big target became the main reason for the defeat.
South Africa win the 2nd T20I by 51 runs.#TeamIndia will aim to come back strongly in the 3rd T20I in Dharamshala.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav’s flop show
Captain Suryakumar Yadav’s bat once again remained silent. He had to take the responsibility of getting the team out of a difficult situation, but he walked away after scoring only 5 runs. Not only his batting, but some of his captaincy decisions were also under question. Surya is continuously flopping in T20. He has not scored a single fifty in the last 17 matches. His poor form before next year’s T20 World Cup is an alarm bell for the team.

batting was slow
The team expected fast innings in the middle order from all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Akshar Patel, but both scored runs at a slow pace. Akshar Patel came at number three and scored 21 runs on 21 balls. Hardik Pandya scored 20 runs on 23 balls. These slow innings of both took the required run rate very high, due to which the pressure on the team kept increasing.
