Ujjain. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, various events and activities are being conducted to make Madhya Pradesh a major tourist destination. In this sequence, with the aim of making Madhya Pradesh a hub of adventure tourism, the fifth edition of sky-diving in Ujjain is going to be launched today at 11:00 am on Friday at Datana Airstrip. In this event, which will run till 15 February 2026 in Ujjain, the city of Baba Mahakal, tourists will get new and thrilling experiences by jumping from a height of 10 thousand feet.
State Minister of State for Tourism and Culture (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi said that in view of the four successful editions of the sky-diving festival and the enthusiasm of tourists towards adventure activities, the fifth edition is being organized this year. More than 700 tourists have enjoyed this exciting activity in the last four editions. Adventure lovers will be able to experience the thrill of flying in the sky at Datana Airstrip. The fee for sky diving has been kept at thirty thousand rupees plus GST. Its timing is fixed from 8 am to 5 pm every day. Interested participants can book at www.skyhighindia.com.
Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism and Culture Department, Shiv Shekhar Shukla said that the sky diving activity will be conducted by the organization M/s Goforth Adventure Private Limited (Sky-High India). For this, the special aircraft used will be the new Cessna 182P (completely modified for sky-diving), which has a total capacity of 6 members. 2 participants at a time will be able to go sky diving with the support of 2 trained instructors. Along with sky diving, other air-based activities will also be introduced in the future.
The ride will be modern and very safe
Shukla said that sky diving is being conducted by Sky-High India, an organization certified by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the United States Parachute Association (USPA). Registration of aircraft used in sky diving is ensured with the Directorate of Civil Aviation. The activity will be conducted by the organization with trained skydivers and safety protocols as per international standards, so that the participants can have a safe and memorable experience.

Various adventure activities are also being organized in the state by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board.
