NEW DELHI: There is no stopping Vaibhav Suryavanshi, as the 14-year-old prodigy continues to make waves across formats, smashing a stunning century off just 56 balls against the UAE in the U-19 Asia Cup match in Dubai on Friday.

Vaibhav has entered elite company by scoring four T20 centuries in a single calendar year, joining the ranks of Indian cricket superstars Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill. This remarkable achievement highlights his consistency and explosive batting ability, firmly establishing him as one of the most exciting young talents in world cricket.

A dream year for India’s youngest batting sensation

Vaibhav Suryavanshi is having a sensational 2025, showing no signs of slowing down at just 14 years old. He kicked off the year with a blistering IPL century for Rajasthan Royals and added five more tons to his tally soon after.

Following his IPL exploits, Suryavanshi toured with the India U-19 team in England and Australia, scoring centuries in both youth ODIs and youth Tests, further cementing his reputation as a prodigious talent. He has also notched a century for India A, showcasing his consistency across levels.

Before the Under-19 Asia Cup, he represented Bihar in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT), where he continued his red-hot form with another century. His recent ton in the U-19 Asia Cup now brings his incredible 2025 tally to six centuries, underlining a year of record-breaking performances.

However, he fell short of a maiden double century, scoring a breathtaking 171 off just 95 balls, which included 14 towering sixes and 9 fours, before being cleaned up by UAE spinner Uddish Suri.
