MG Hector 2026 will be launched in a new color shade, how much will the price increase, know the complete details
MG Hector 2026: After the release of the second teaser of the new MG Hector 2026, people’s interest in this SUV has increased further. This time Hector is seen in a completely new and modern look. The special thing is that for the first time the company has shown it in the new Celadon Blue color shade, which makes its look more premium and attractive than before. With mild but effective changes in design, lots of features and reliable engine, the new Hector is going to create a stir in its segment again.
The biggest highlight of the 2026 MG Hector is its new front design. The teaser shows a large and stylish hexagon pattern front grille. MG’s big logo is also given in chrome finish on it. The front bumper has also been redesigned with a new skid plate setup. The base design of the headlight and taillight will remain the same but their LED DRL will now be sharper and updated.
There will be no major changes in the interior as Hector has already received a major update in 2023. The seating layout will remain available in 5, 6 and 7 seater options as before. It is expected that MG may add some new features to the infotainment system. The larger 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, panoramic sunroof, LED ambient lighting, ventilated seats and connected car features will continue in the top model. New upholstery color options can also be available.
Engine options in MG Hector 2026 will remain exactly the same as before. The petrol model will get a 1.5 liter four cylinder engine which gives 143 hp and 250 Newton meter torque. It can be purchased in both six speed manual and CVT. The diesel model will get a 2.0 liter engine which gives 170 hp and 350 Newton meter torque. The diesel variant will be available only in manual gearbox.

Since no major changes have been made to the engine or mechanical parts of the car, a huge increase in price is not expected. At present, the ex-showroom price of MG Hector starts from Rs 14 lakh and goes up to Rs 21 lakh thirty-four thousand. The price of the new 2026 model may increase by around fifteen thousand to twenty-five thousand rupees.
