Vietnam’s largest night run opens 2026 registration
The race is scheduled for March 22, three weeks after the Lunar New Year, a period when Ho Chi Minh City typically enjoys dry air, mild temperatures, and a vibrant post-holiday atmosphere. The timing has made the event a popular choice for runners looking to kick off their racing season while combining competition with spring travel and city exploration.
Last year’s edition drew 12,000 participants, cementing its position as Vietnam’s largest night run. Its appeal lies in HCMC’s distinctive nighttime energy, illuminated streets, and a course that passes major landmarks, offering runners a unique perspective of the country’s busiest metropolis.
During the Super Early Bird phase from Dec. 10 to 30, bib prices are set at VND480,000 ($18.24) for 5 km, VND680,000 ($25.84) for 10 km, VND890,000 ($33.82) for 21 km, and VND990,000 ($37.63) for 42 km.
Prices will increase during the Early Bird phase and subsequent registration windows as race day approaches.

Registration will close on March 5, 2026, while the portal for editing personal information will shut on Feb. 12. Organizers say these deadlines ensure timely production of race kits and preparation of event logistics.
Entering its fourth season, the marathon will continue to feature a fully lit course and race kits that include a bib, event T-shirt, and finisher shirts for half-marathon and full-marathon runners.
The course is expected to include Tao Dan Park, Independence Palace, Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Nguyen Hue pedestrian street.
Additional details will be announced soon.
