The company has recently launched the new Mini Cooper S Convertible, which is being described as the most affordable convertible car in India. This car is a great combination of stylish looks, freedom of open roof and powerful performance.
How much is the price?
The Mini Cooper S Convertible has been launched in a single, fully-loaded variant. Its starting ex-showroom price has been fixed at Rs 58.50 lakh. However, the most affordable model in the Mini Cooper lineup is the Mini Cooper 3-Door, whose ex-showroom price starts at around Rs 42.70 lakh. But in the convertible segment, the new model offers the most affordable open-top driving experience.
Perfect combination of style and technology
The new Mini Cooper S Convertible combines the classic design of Mini with modern technology. It has a powerful 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. This engine generates approximately 204 horse power (hp) and peak torque of 300 newton meters (Nm). It has a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox (DCT). This car claims to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.

Design highlights
The biggest feature of this car is its electric fabric soft-top roof, which opens in just 18 seconds and closes in 15 seconds. It can be driven up to a speed of 30 km/hr. The car has signature round LED headlights, DRLs and Union Jack-themed LED tail-lights at the rear. It has been introduced with 18-inch alloy wheels.
