Police will not be able to take Anmol Bishnoi into custody, Home Ministry issued a big order
New Delhi: Home Ministry has taken strict action against notorious gangster Anmol Bishnoi. The order issued under Section 303 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS) states that no state police or investigating agency will be able to take him out of Tihar Jail for the next one year. Even interrogation can take place only inside the jail. This decision has been taken due to security reasons.
Meaning of BNSS Section 303
This section empowers the Central Government to ban the release of any prisoner from jail. Its objective is to maintain law and order and ensure the safety of the prisoner.
If the prisoner is taken outside, there may be a possibility of deterioration of public order or danger. This order has been imposed on Anmol like his elder brother Lawrence Bishnoi, who is lodged in Sabarmati jail in Gujarat.
Arrest and deportation from America
Actually Anmol Bishnoi was absconding since 2022. He was deported to India in November 2025 after being arrested in America in a case of fake documents. NIA arrested him as soon as he reached Delhi. The court first gave remand for 11 days, then for 7 days. Now after the completion of the investigation, he has been sent to the judicial custody of Tihar Jail, where he is completely imprisoned.
Bhir allegation and gang network
There are serious allegations against Anmol like Baba Siddiqui murder, Sidhu Moosewala murder, conspiracy of firing at Salman Khan’s house. Let us tell you, he used to run the gang from abroad and arrange weapons and money. Cases are registered against him in many states.
This order is to prevent risk during their transfer. The move shows concentrated control over high-profile gangsters. However, now the investigating agencies will interrogate him in jail itself.
