Controversial words of BJP leader in Chhattisgarh, shameful statement on Mamata Banerjee

News India Live, Digital Desk: In politics, allegations and counter-allegations keep going on against each other, but when a leader forgets his dignity and uses violent or vulgar language against a woman Chief Minister, then it becomes a matter of concern for the society. The latest case is from Chhattisgarh. Here, a senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former MLA has given such a controversial statement about West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, which has created a stir in the political circles. What did he say after all? According to the news, during a protest or meeting, the anger of this BJP leader was on cloud nine. Losing consciousness in excitement, he gave a direct warning to Mamata Banerjee. He said in a very aggressive manner that Mamata Banerjee’s “condition will be made worse” or she “will not be spared”. (The words were so harsh that they are being condemned everywhere). He said that he would not remain silent on the way incidents are happening in Bengal, but the words he chose to express his protest were extremely objectionable. In his talks, he even said that demonic tendencies will not be tolerated and its ‘end’ is necessary. Why did he make such a statement? Actually, this whole matter is related to the events happening in Bengal and the politics there. BJP is continuously attacking Mamata government. In the same connection, BJP leaders were protesting in Chhattisgarh too, but perhaps Netaji himself did not know when this ‘protest’ turned into ‘misbehavior’ and ‘threat’. Opposition’s counterattack: “This is the real face of BJP.” As soon as the video of this statement went viral, Congress and TMC have opened their front. The opposition says that using such language against a woman Chief Minister shows how much respect BJP leaders have for women. Chhattisgarh Congress leaders have demanded an immediate apology and appealed to the police that action should be taken against the leader who gave the inflammatory speech. Even on social media, common people are raising questions whether there are only abuses and threats left in politics? The point to think about is not about any one party, the question is about that thinking. Is it necessary to resort to violent words to express one’s point in democracy? What the leader said may hardly make any difference in Bengal, but he has certainly poisoned the calm atmosphere of Chhattisgarh. Now it has to be seen what action the BJP takes on the ‘bad words’ of its leader, or else it will be shelved as a political statement.
