Barabanki. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Progressive Farmers Conference and Kisan Pathshala 8.0 of Rabi season in Barabanki. During this, he discussed with the farmers about lower costs and more production. Also said, I welcome all of you to this program of Kisan Pathshala. Here we are taking a very close look at what farming is? What are the challenges of farming? How can we make farmers happy with lower input costs and higher production?

The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is a very fertile land, has adequate water resources and is blessed with better connectivity. Today, as a result of the double engine government providing them all those facilities for which the farmers yearned earlier, UP is today one of the highest agricultural producing states in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi says that the first mantra to increase the income of farmers is – cost should be less, production should be more.

He further said, farmers have been receiving MSP payments continuously for the last 8 years. Now there is no middleman, only the farmer or farmer can sell his produce in the purchasing center. Continuous work is being done in Uttar Pradesh to ensure that technology and good quality seeds are available to the farmers.
