DGP confirmed, organizer arrested
West Bengal DGP Rajiv Kumar, while clarifying the situation on the entire matter, said that the main organizer has been arrested and investigation into the matter has started. He said that whoever is found responsible for this incident, strict action will be taken against him.
Fans will get refund, written assurance
DGP Rajeev Kumar also informed that the organizers of GOAT India Tour have assured in writing that all the affected spectators will be refunded their money. He told that a large number of people had come with the hope that Messi would be seen playing on the field, but it could not happen.
