Vote theft is not just election rigging, it is an attempt to silence your identity and destroy the dignity that comes from participation in democracy: CM Siddaramaiah

New Delhi. Congress is organizing a big rally on Sunday at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan over allegations of vote theft. Congress’s preparations for this are in full swing. Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that democracy survives only when every citizen’s vote has equal power. This belief of equal voice and equal importance has kept our republic strong for 75 years, but today BJP and RSS are attacking this very foundation.

Vote theft is not just electoral fraud, but an attempt to erase your voice, take away your right to choose your representative, silence your identity and destroy the dignity that comes from participation in democracy. When your vote is stolen, your future is stolen.

He further said, we have consistently exposed their actions in Bengaluru, Aland, Haryana, Maharashtra and Bihar. Wherever they fear defeat, they resort to manipulation and theft of the public mandate. Rahul Gandhi is playing a leading role in this struggle to protect India’s democracy. He has taken this message to every corner of the country and people are supporting it with indomitable courage and hope.

The Chief Minister said that, this spirit of resistance will be seen on 14 December 2025 at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi, where the Congress Party will organize a massive rally against voting theft and fascist policies and to protect our Constitution. I call upon every citizen to join this historic moment. Come to Delhi in large numbers. If you can’t attend the massive rally, join the protest wherever you are—be it in your village, town, college or workplace. This is your collective duty. Together we will protect our democracy and stop the attack on our republic by BJP-RSS.
