Special Train: Good news for the passengers going to Vaishno Devi, this special train will run
Special Train: In view of the cancellation of flights during the winter season and the continuous increase in the number of passengers, Indian Railways has decided to operate special trains. In this series, Union Minister Jitendra Singh announced on Thursday that a special train service will be run between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, so that the devotees visiting Vaishno Devi temple located in Jammu and Kashmir can get relief.
Giving information on social media platform This special train is being run keeping in mind the additional crowd of devotees and other passengers.
Train Timings and Stoppages
Train No. 04081 will depart from New Delhi at 11:45 pm and reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 12:00 pm the next day. This train will stop at major stations like Panipat, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu and Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Udhampur on its route.
Central Railway ran 14 additional special trains
To handle the additional passenger load, Central Railway has also started several special train services. These mainly include these trains-
01413/01414: Pune – Bengaluru – Pune
01409/01410: Pune – Hazrat Nizamuddin – Pune
01019/01020: LTT – Margao – LTT
01077/01078: CSMT – Hazrat Nizamuddin – CSMT
01015/01016: LTT – Lucknow – LTT
01012/01011: Nagpur – CSMT – Nagpur
05587/05588: Gorakhpur – LTT – Gorakhpur
08245/08246: Bilaspur – LTT – Bilaspur
Other zones are also running special trains
In view of the increased demand after flight cancellation, South Eastern Railway has also announced many special trains. These include Santragachhi–Yelahanka–Santragachhi (08073/08074), Howrah–CSMT–Howrah (02870/02869) and Cherlapalli–Shalimar–Cherlapalli (07148/07149).
Eastern Railway has also run special trains between Howrah, Sealdah and other major destinations. These include Howrah–New Delhi–Howrah (03009/03010) and Sealdah–LTT–Sealdah (03127/03128) special trains.
At the same time, South Central Railway has also started three special trains to control the crowd. These include Cherlapalli–Shalimar (07148), Secunderabad–Chennai Egmore (07146) and Hyderabad–Mumbai LTT (07150).
Apart from this, Western Railway has decided to run 7 special trains to meet the increasing travel demand.
