Once, someone told me to fix my nose, and I was surprised at what kind of statement that was. First of all, I like my nose and I think it’s beautiful, and secondly, who are you to tell me to change my nose? These are people who have nothing better to do in life. What are they going to do?”

Aisha recalled another incident where she was asked to change her teeth. She said that while auditioning for a horror film, she was told that if it wasn’t a horror film, she would have to change her teeth. She said, “I remember I went to a casting session for a film and the director was there. He was a very famous director. I was very excited about the meeting and it was going to be a horror film. He asked me to audition there and I did. He was very happy with my audition.”

Ayesha said that she was told that she would be selected for the project, but also received some negative feedback about her appearance. “Then they told me it’s okay because it’s a horror movie, otherwise you’d have to replace your teeth,” she said. “And I was stunned, wondering if they really said that. I was so happy and smiling before.”
