Education Ministry launches these 4 courses related to event management-planning, no fees will be charged, available online

Swayam portal is a great platform for free education. Courses related to different subjects (Event Management Free Courses) are available on it. Which can be joined without any fees. It is operated by the Ministry of Education. Therefore the chances of scam are also very less. Recently new courses related to event planning and management have been launched. Three courses related to event management available on the platform are offered by IGNOU, one of the famous open and distance learning universities of the country. One course is being offered by IIM Bengaluru. There will be no fees of any kind to join these courses. However, examination will be conducted to obtain the certificate. For this you may also have to pay examination fees. But education is free.

List of courses offered by IGNOU Basic of Event Management, event planning and event coordination and control. All three are scheduled to start from January 1. The name of the course offered by I Am Bengaluru is “Corporate Communication and Event Management”. It is going to start from January 12, 2026. The duration of all courses is between 8 to 16 weeks.

Basics of Event Management:-This course is available in English medium. UG level students can join it. It will end on 30 April 2026. The course can be completed in just 12 weeks. In this, topics like building portfolio, business opportunity, finding financial management, characteristics and types of events will be taught.

event planning:- Its coordinator is Professor Hina K. There is electricity. The duration of this course is 16 weeks. Undergraduate level students can also join this. This course will end on 30 April 2026. In this, information will be given on how to understand and know the client. Topics like event design, human resource planning and entertainment planning are also included. Till now more than 40 candidates have joined it.

Event Coordination and Control:- Till now 35 students have joined this course. Studies will be conducted by Dr. Meenu Verma. Its duration is only 16 weeks, which will run till 30 April 2026. It includes many topics including staging events, event coordination, catering management, business events.

Corporate Communication and Event Management:- This course is offered by IIM Bangalore. The study will be conducted by Professor Aditya Kumar Shukla of Amity University, Gwalior Madhya Pradesh. Till now 146 students have joined. Its duration is 8 weeks. UG and PG level students can join. This course is scheduled to run till 30 April 2026. It covers many important topics including event management fundamentals, planning and strategic execution, advanced event practice.
