Will Congress get benefit by vote chor gaddi chod rally of Rahul Gandhi as he get failed in bihar assembly election 2025?

New Delhi. How much will Congress gain by holding ‘Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod’ rally at Ramlila Maidan? This question is because Congress, which is continuously alleging vote theft, did not get any benefit from this issue in the recently held Bihar Assembly elections. Rahul Gandhi held several press conferences alleging vote theft. Congress sometimes described Rahul Gandhi’s press conference as an atom bomb and sometimes as a hydrogen bomb. Despite this, Rahul Gandhi could not show any charisma in Bihar by alleging vote theft. The situation was such that Congress’s performance in the Bihar Assembly elections was the worst.

Much before the voting for Bihar Assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi had raised the issue of vote theft. He made many claims in the press conference and also gave examples. The Election Commission declared every claim of Rahul Gandhi wrong and asked him to give an affidavit. Rahul Gandhi has not yet filed an affidavit in the Election Commission complaining of vote theft. At the same time, many of the people whom Rahul Gandhi gave examples of vote theft in the press conference, came in front of the media and declared the Congress leader’s claims wrong. This would have definitely reduced public confidence in Rahul Gandhi and Congress.

Before the Bihar Assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi had taken out a 1300 km ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in the state by making vote theft an issue. This journey of Rahul Gandhi took place through 110 assembly seats of 25 districts of Bihar. During his visit, Rahul Gandhi caught fish, rode a bicycle and raised the issue of Makhana. Congress leaders looked very happy with the huge crowd gathered in this joint visit of Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, but when the election results of Bihar came, it was found that the public had given only 6 seats to the Congress which was contesting on 61 seats. Whereas, in the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Congress won 19 after fighting on 71 seats. After the ‘Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod’ rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, elections are coming in many states including West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Assam. Will this issue of Rahul Gandhi be able to benefit Congress in these states?
