Employment fair will be organized in Katihar on 16th December, 16 reputed companies will participate.

Katihar . District Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional Collector and Block Development Officer, Falka jointly flagged off a promotional vehicle for the successful organization and wide publicity of the employment fair to be organized at Shiv Narayan Sarvodaya High School, Baretha (Falka) on 16 December 2025 under the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Rural Skill Scheme.

About 16 reputed companies from different sectors will participate in this employment fair. These will include companies related to retail sector, textile, automobile, insurance, hospitality, construction, security guards, helpers etc., which will provide diverse employment opportunities to the youth.

Through a publicity vehicle, information related to the employment fair will be disseminated to the general public, especially the rural youth, in all the panchayats under Falka block of the district, so that more and more youth can participate in this employment fair and get skill training and employment opportunities.
