IND vs SA 3rd T20: India defeated South Africa by 7 wickets in the 3rd T20, took 2-1 lead in the series.

New Delhi : The third T20 match was played between India and South Africa in the picturesque grounds of Dharamshala, in which the Indian team won by 7 wickets. With this victory, India took a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. Captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bowl first, which proved to be completely correct. The South African team could score only 117 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Aiden Markram scored 61 runs, while the rest of the batsmen had a struggling innings.

Great performance by Indian bowlers
Indian bowlers controlled South Africa’s innings. Arshdeep Singh took 2 wickets for just 13 runs in 4 overs. Harshit Rana also took 2 wickets. Varun Chakraborty and Kuldeep Yadav equally took two wickets each. Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey achieved one success each. The impressive bowling of these bowlers put the South African team under pressure in the initial overs itself.

The target was achieved by losing only 3 wickets in the 16th over.
Chasing 118 runs, India achieved the target by losing only 3 wickets in the 16th over. Shubhman Gill and Abhishek Sharma made a great start. Abhishek Sharma was out after scoring 35 runs in the sixth over. Gill and Tilak Verma handled the innings and India’s score in 10 overs was 88-1. Shubman Gill was out in the 12th over, while captain Suryakumar Yadav returned after scoring 12 runs in the 15th over. After this, Tilak Verma and Shivam Dubey led the team to victory. Tilak not out on 25 and Shivam not out on 10 ensured the result.

Two changes in the team
The Indian team made two changes for this match. Harshit Rana and Kuldeep Yadav got a chance in place of Akshar Patel and Jasprit Bumrah. Akshar was ill, while Bumrah returned home due to personal reasons. These changes maintained the balance of the team and strengthened the bowling department.

India took the lead in the series
With this victory, India has taken the lead in the series. The fourth match will be played in Lucknow on Wednesday. The performance of the Indian team shows that there is balance in both the batting and bowling departments and the young players have taken up the responsibility.
