Mumbai Malayalam actor Akhil Vishwanath died on Thursday, December 11 at the age of 30. He was found dead in the bedroom of his home in Kerala. Akhil Vishwanath was seen in the film ‘Chola’ directed by Vishwanath, Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, which won the Kerala State Film Award in 2019. He was seen in many other films, including ‘Operation Java’. Akhil’s family and his fans are shocked by the sudden death of the actor.
Recently, Akhil’s father had an accident, after which he is undergoing treatment. His father drives an auto rickshaw and met with an accident three months ago. A car had hit Akhil’s father’s rickshaw. Since then Akhil Vishwanath’s father is bedridden. Whereas mother Geeta Kodaly works in Vyapaari Ekopana Samiti Vyaparabhavan.
According to the report of ‘Manorama Online’, when Akhil Vishwanath’s mother Geeta was preparing to go to work, she found her son hanging in the house. Reports said that Akhil was working as a mechanic in a mobile phone shop in Kottali. However, he had reportedly stopped going to work for some time.
The real reason for Akhil’s death has not been revealed yet. The investigation has started. Officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding Akhil’s death. Actors, crew members and others who worked with Akhil are paying tribute to him and are shocked by the death. Director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan wrote on Facebook, ‘The news of Akhil’s suicide is heartbreaking. He came out of the depths of poverty and came into the world of cinema. A film named ‘Chola’ was enough for him to step into Malayalam cinema as an actor. But this could not happen. The future hopes of many people were plunged into darkness, including that young man who had proved his talent through that film.
He further wrote, ‘I cannot believe that Akhil committed suicide. I know that he was preparing to work in a film soon, the shooting of which was to start recently. Akhil, I am feeling very sad. I don’t know what is the reason for this death, but the blood of those who have darkened the future of many people along with you is in your blood. May your soul rest in peace. May your loving smile touch me again.
