BJP made 2 dead leaders as Mandal representatives in Garhwa, rectified after error was detected

Ranchi: BJP, which is a vocal advocate of SIR and name verification, could not handle the purity of names in its own organization. In Ramkanda and Chiniya mandals of Garhwa district, BJP made such leaders, who had died months ago, as mandal representatives. In Ramkanda Mandal, appointment letters were issued in the name of late Paras Nath Mali eight months ago and in Chiniya Mandal two months ago, appointment letters were issued in the name of late Ramsakal Korwa.

Nitin Nabin will be the national working president of BJP, is a minister in Bihar government.
After the matter came to light, senior leaders intervened on the basis of complaint, after which the list was hurriedly improved. By removing the names of the deceased leaders, Sonu Devi from Ramkanda and Kapil Prasad from Chiniya were made Mandal representatives. However, the names of Sanjay Yadav of Bardiha, Umashankar Yadav of Majhiyaan Rural, Pawan Kumar of Majhiyaan Nagar and Ashok Seth of Vanshidhar Nagar, already appointed in the revised list, were also removed, due to which there is dissatisfaction in the organization. It is noteworthy that these days organizational elections are going on in BJP under Sangathan Parv. Election of Mandal Presidents and Mandal Representatives of various assembly constituencies is taking place. After this, the election of district presidents is to be held.

‘Conspiracy being hatched against me’, Congress leader Pradeep Yadav said on audio-video leak issue
Awadhesh Mali, son of late Paras Nath Mali said that my father passed away in October. I have received information that father has been selected as Mandal representative. Local party leaders are aware of my father’s demise, yet it is surprising for him to be elected as Mandal representative. I have been a disciplined soldier of the party for the last many years, it would have been better if I was made the representative in place of my father. Ramsakal Korwa’s son Raju Korwa said that my father died on 10 April 2025. He was a BJP leader from Chiniya Mandal. Along with many party leaders, Garhwa MLA Satyendra Nath Tiwari and Palamu MP BD Ram also came to his demise. I was very surprised to hear that my father has been made the Mandal representative. It should not happen. Now I don’t know whose fault it is.

District in-charge said – Typing mistake: BJP’s Garhwa district election in-charge Amardeep Yadav has termed the entire matter as a typing error. He said- There might have been a typing mistake in the letter that has been issued. Only qualified people have been selected as Chiniya and Ramkanda Mandal representatives. When asked whether the names were selected only by sitting at the table. Amardeep Yadav said that the process of selection of names of divisional presidents and divisional representatives has been completed in an organizational manner.

The process took place without verification, hence the error in the list.

This time BJP’s membership campaign in Jharkhand could not live up to the expectations. Despite extensive efforts, many wards could not be formed because the number of active members there was less than the prescribed standard. This obstacle in the formation of wards is directly affecting the process of mandal formation. According to the rules, mandal elections cannot be conducted until more than half the wards are formed. Similarly, the process of election of district presidents starts only after the elections of more than half of the divisions are completed. But under the pressure of the organization festival, the procedural balance got disturbed at many places. According to sources, during the polling in the divisions, the names of the divisional presidents were decided, but at many places the divisional representatives were allowed to remain the same. The most important thing was that no formal investigation was conducted as to whether these old Mandal representatives were alive or not. Neither the updated list was seen nor was it confirmed at the ground level. The result of this negligence was that the names of deceased leaders were included in the list of the organization. After the matter became public, the party had to make hasty reforms.
