Who Went Home & Who Made the Finale?

Four contestants ultimately made it to the semifinals of The Roadbut one journey came to an end by the close of the night. With steep challenges and sudden surprises, there was no shortage of excitement for fans. Three of the four contestants advanced to the finals. Here is who did not make it.

Who was eliminated in The Road Season 1 semifinals?

Adam Sanders, Britnee Kellogg, Cassidy Daniels, and Channing Wilson were the only remaining contestants in the semifinals of The Road Season 1.

After a set at the legendary Bluebird Café with Keith Urban, the four delivered their solo performances at Marathon Music Works. In an added twist, Adam and Britnee were paired together to perform “Keep Your Hands to Yourself” by The Georgia Satellites. Channing and Cassidy also paired up and performed “Jackson” by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

After the rounds concluded, Britnee Kellogg was eliminated from the show. The 40-year-old from Anthem, Arizona, became the only contestant to depart.

“The audience were great tonight, they really responded, but it is a Nashville audience, so their standards are pretty high,” Keith Urban said (via Parade). He added, “Obviously, the voting reflected that. Based on the audience votes, unfortunately, Britnee, Marathon Music Works is your final stop.”

Britnee said, “This experience has been life changing.” She added, “It’s been incredible. Of course, for a 40-year-old like me, this is my only opportunity, so it’s sad. I am going to continue playing shows and being a mama and continue to inspire other moms to do the same.”

Who are the finalists of Keith Urban’s The Road?

With Britnee out of the competition, Adam Sanders, Cassidy Daniels, and Channing Wilson remain. They will now battle for the top prize. The winner of The Road will receive a Stagecoach performance slot and a recording contract. Additionally, the prize package includes a cash award of $250,000.

The Road airs Sunday nights at 9 PM EST. Fans can also stream the episode on Paramount+ the following day.
