MG Hector Facelift: MG Motor has once again made a big bet in the Indian SUV market. The company has launched the new MG Hector Facelift in India and the most surprising thing is its price. The starting price of the new Hector has been kept at ₹ 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which is cheaper than the old model by about ₹ 2 lakh. With strong looks, high-tech features and a luxury touch, this SUV can directly shake up the mid-size segment.
What changed in the exterior?
A slight but effective change has been made in the front look of the new MG Hector Facelift. It now has a new hexagonal front grille, which makes the SUV more bold. The bumper design remains the same, but the dual-tone body, black wheel arch cladding and new 18-inch alloy wheels give it a fresh look. Apart from this, the company has also added new color options like Celadon Blue and Pearl White.
A touch of luxury added to the interior
The cabin of Hector facelift has now become more premium than before. It has a new Urban Tan dual-tone interior. The biggest attraction is its huge 14-inch touchscreen, which has i-Swipe gesture control. AC control with two fingers, music and volume control with three fingers – that is all the fun of technology. Along with this, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, digital auto key and Infinity by Harman sound system is also available.
Variants and seating options
The company has launched MG Hector Facelift in both 5-seater and 7-seater options. Style, Select Pro, Smart and Smart Pro variants are available in the 5-seater, while Savvy Pro and Sharp Pro options are given in the 7-seater. This SUV currently comes with a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, in which the option of manual and CVT gearbox is available.

Special attention to safety and engine
No stone has been left unturned in the matter of safety in the new Hector facelift. It has advanced features like Level-2 ADAS, 6 airbags, 360-degree camera. The engine gives power of 141 bhp and torque of 250 Nm. The company is also offering 3-3-3 warranty package, which includes unlimited kilometer warranty.
