Desk: The body of a girl from Simdega district of Jharkhand has been found in Hapur district of UP. The girl was murdered after being raped. The skeleton of the young man was found locked inside a suitcase. UP Police has arrested a couple in this case. The accused couple had brought the girl here to work as a domestic help. During interrogation, the youth accused of murder has admitted that he had raped the girl and made an obscene video of her.

When the girl asked to complain to the police, he along with his wife beat her to death. The police have recovered the stick used in the murder and three mobile phones and other items from the accused couple. Another girl from Simdega played an important role in uncovering the case, who works as a domestic help in the house of a Delhi businessman. Hapur’s Additional Superintendent of Police Vineet Bhatnagar said that on December 1, the skeleton of a girl was found in a suitcase in a sugarcane field in front of Rama Hospital near NH-9 in Pilkhuwa police station area of Hapur.

Suspecting the police to be a resident of Delhi, the police also reached Delhi while investigating, where posters were pasted in the police stations to identify the deceased. On reaching Vivek Vihar police station, Hapur police came to know that a big businessman resident of Savita Vihar had come to the police station regarding the missing of a girl. When he was contacted, he told that a domestic help worked at his place. She has been scared for a long time and has witnessed the murder of a young woman.

After this the police team collected information from the domestic help. It was found out that the girl whose body was found in the suitcase was a resident of a village under Thathaigar police station in Simdega district of Jharkhand. By connecting the links of the case, the police arrested Ankit Kumar, resident of Nawada Kalan, village of Simbhawali, a couple resident of village Duhri Kat of Pilkhuwa and Kalista alias Kali, resident of Kairaya Kudpani, police station Thethaingar of Simdega district of Jharkhand. During interrogation, the couple told that they bring poor women and girls of Jharkhand here to work as domestic help in their homes. Ankit had raped the girl and made an obscene video of her. When the girl threatened to complain to the police, the couple beat her to death with a stick.
