Big relief for government employees, DDA brings ‘Karmayogi Awas Yojana’, up to 25% discount on freehold flats

A big news has come out for the government employees who are dreaming of buying a house in Delhi (Karmyogi Awas Yojana). Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has appointed serving and retired government employees Has announced the launch of a special housing scheme for. Under this scheme, up to 25 percent direct discount will be given on freehold flats, which will provide cheap and safe housing in the capital.

This new scheme has been named ‘Karmayogi Awas Yojana’. DDA says its objective is to provide quality housing to government servants at concessional rates. The scheme will be implemented entirely on a first-come, first-served basis, with a total of 1,168 flats being put up for sale.

Online registration date fixed

According to DDA officials, online registration and detailed brochure for this scheme (Karmyogi Awas Yojana) will be made available from December 19, 2025. Whereas, the booking process of category wise flats will start from January 14, 2026. The final prices of the flats will be announced at the time of the formal launch of the scheme.

Who will get the benefit of the scheme?

This scheme is open to working and retired employees of Central Government, State Government, PSU, Autonomous Institutions, Local Bodies (Karmyogi Awas Yojana). Apart from this, employees of Delhi Police, MCD, CISF, CRPF, Delhi Government and other state governments will also be able to apply under this scheme. The application process will be completely online.

Estimated prices after 25% discount

According to the information released by DDA, after the discount, the starting prices of flats may be as follows –

1 BHK: ₹34.03 lakh

2 BHK: ₹79.81 lakh

3 BHK: ₹114.57 lakh

Special society prepared in Narela

All the 1,168 flats available under this scheme have been developed in Narela, Pocket-9, Sector A-1 to A-4. These have been designed as an exclusive government group housing society, where 1 BHK, 2 BHK and 3 BHK flats will be provided keeping in mind the needs of the employees.
