Nifty 50 top losers today, December 15: Mahindra & Mahindra, Eicher Motors, ONGC, JSW Steel, Bajaj Auto and more

Indian equity benchmarks closed marginally lower in a highly volatile session on December 15, with selling pressure visible across select frontline stocks. The Sensex slipped 54.30 points, or 0.06%, to settle at 85,213.36, while the Nifty declined 19.65 points, or 0.08%, to close at 26,027.30. Several heavyweight stocks ended the day in the red, dragging overall market sentiment. Here are the top losers from the Nifty 50 index (as per Trendline).

Top Losers – Nifty 50 (December 15)

  • Mahindra & Mahindra was the top loser on the Nifty 50, closing down 2.0% at ₹3,608.

  • Eicher Motors declined 1.5% to end the session at ₹7,121.5.

  • Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) closed 1.1% lower at ₹235.4.

  • JSW Steel slipped 1.0%settling at ₹1,114.8.

  • Bajaj Auto ended 0.8% lower at ₹8,940.

  • Bajaj Finserv also declined 0.8%closing at ₹2,067.1.

  • Maruti Suzuki India finished the day down 0.7% at ₹16,400.

  • Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone closed 0.7% lower at ₹1,512.6.

  • Bharti Airtel slipped 0.7% to ₹2,069.7 by the end of the session.

  • Titan Company also ended 0.7% lower, closing at ₹3,855.
