Yasir Nawaz responds to Fiza Ali’s criticism of Nida Yasir in
Renowned Pakistani television and film celebrity Yasir Nawaz, widely admired for his exceptional acting and direction, recently addressed the controversy surrounding his wife Nida Yasir in a candid interview on Nadia Khan’s Rise and Shine morning show. Yasir Nawaz has made a significant mark in the Pakistani entertainment industry, both as an actor and director. His notable acting roles include popular dramas like Dil Moum Ka Diya, Baaghi, Bikhray Moti, and Mera Dil Mera Dushman, while his directorial ventures include acclaimed television projects such as Ghair, Shak, Khudgharz, and Thori Si Wafa Chahiye. In addition to his television work, Yasir Nawaz has directed and appeared in hit films like Wrong No., Mehrunnisa We Love You, and Chakkar.
Currently, Yasir Nawaz is receiving widespread praise for his performance in hit drama serial Sanwal Yaar Piya, directed by Danish Nawaz, where his acting has once again captivated audiences across Pakistan.
During the interview, Yasir Nawaz opened up about the criticism directed at his wife Nida by fellow celebrity Fiza Ali. He said, “What I have come to understand is that all the critical celebrities, including Fiza Ali, are those who have no work left in the industry. They want to be discussed. When they say something, they become relevant because they are discussed on social media. Unfortunately, it is a bad thing, but they have started to enjoy it. If they have to be discussed, then the reason should be positive behind it. Do something valuable which trends on media.”
He further elaborated on the incident, emphasizing that Nida Yasir had already acknowledged her mistake on a live show, saying, “Nida first already explained that she made a mistake, and in live shows mistakes happen. She was already facing criticism over this. I also explained to her that she should not have included all the delivery riders in it, because some may not be like that, to which she admitted her mistake and apologized. After that, Fiza Ali again said that an apology isn’t enough for your mistake, this and that, which made me angry. It woke me up as a husband after her unfair criticism.”
Yasir Nawaz’s comments have sparked discussions among fans and industry insiders, many of whom have praised him for defending his family while addressing the issue in a straightforward and thoughtful manner.
