Maharashtra state government holiday list 2026: Check public holidays calendar for new year here

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has officially released the list of public holidays for the year 2026. The holidays have been notified under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, and will be observed by government offices, institutions and designated establishments across the state.

The list comprises 24 public holidays applicable statewide, along with one special holiday exclusively for banks and an additional holiday for state government and local body offices.
