New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the names of election in-charge and co-in-charge for Tamil Nadu and Assam Assembly Elections. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has been made the election in-charge for Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, while for Assam Assembly Elections, this responsibility has been handed over to the party’s National Vice President Vijayant Panda.

Appointment of Tamil Nadu election in-charge and co-in-charge

According to the letter issued by the party’s National General Secretary Arun Singh, National President JP Nadda has appointed in-charge and co-in-charge for Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. Union Minister Piyush Goyal has been appointed election in-charge. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and Minister of State for Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol have been appointed as co-incharges.

Assam election in-charge and co-in-charge appointed

The party has appointed National Vice President Vijayant Panda as election in-charge for the Assam Assembly Elections. Leader of Opposition in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Sunil Kumar Sharma and former Union Minister Darshana Ben Jardosh have been given the responsibility of election co-in-charge.
