Discussion among villagers about rare chick, vulture or owl found in straw room
Auraiya. An atmosphere of curiosity has been created in the area due to the discovery of rare chicks in a room full of straw built on a farm in Majra Bhandaria of Gram Panchayat Nawada Dhandhu of Bidhuna Tehsil area of Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh. A huge crowd of villagers is gathering to see the chicks. While the villagers are calling them vulture babies, the forest department personnel have described them as a species of owl.
According to the information, two rooms built on the farm of Parshuram Verma, resident of Bhandaria Majra, were filled with straw. When the straw was sold by Parshuram Varma and the door of the room was opened for weighing, five rare chicks were seen sitting on top of the straw. It is believed that some bird might have come inside the room through the window or ventilation and laid eggs, from which these chicks emerged.
As soon as the news of the rare chicks being found spread, a crowd of villagers came to see them and most of the people started considering them to be the children of vultures. Forest worker Avnish Kumar, who reached the spot on information, said after inspection on Tuesday that these chicks appear to be of the owl species. The forest worker has entrusted the responsibility of taking care of the chicks to the farm owner Sukhdevi Verma and advised her not to tamper with them in any way.
Crowds of spectators are continuously gathering in the area to see the rare chicks, due to which this matter has become a topic of discussion in the entire area.
