Australia’s star all-rounder Cameron Green was bid heavily by franchises and finally Kolkata Knight Riders included him in their team for a huge sum of Rs 25.20 crore. Green proved to be one of the most expensive players of this auction.

Long bidding war on Green in auction
When Cameron Green’s name was called in the auction, initially there was a fierce tussle between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. After some time, Chennai Super Kings also jumped into this race. The bidding war continued between KKR and CSK for a long time, but in the end Shahrukh Khan’s team Kolkata Knight Riders won and included Green in their camp.
