Names of so many voters deleted in Rajasthan, Bengal, Election Commission released draft list

Draft Voter List: Election Commission has released the draft voter list of SIR revision issued in West Bengal, Goa, Rajasthan, Lakshadweep and Puducherry. Names of more than 58 lakh voters in Bengal have been removed from the draft voter list. This includes dead, duplicate and transferred duplicate voters. The special thing is that those people whose names have been deleted still have a chance to get their names added to the voter list.

Names of so many voters deleted in West Bengal

According to the official report, SIR was conducted in West Bengal from November 4 to December 11, after which the draft voter list was released, in which 58 lakh 20 thousand 898 names have been removed. The number of voters decreased from 7 crore 66 lakh 37 thousand 529 to 7 crore 8 lakh 16 thousand 630. Special voter list supervisor Subrata Gupta was appointed for West Bengal. He said that those whose names are not in the draft voter list. They don’t need to panic. There are 30 lakh voters whose details do not match in the voter list of 2002. They will be called for hearing. Here they will get a chance to present the documents again before taking the final decision.

Names of so many voters deleted in Rajasthan

The Election Commission had also conducted the SIR process in Rajasthan. Names of 42 lakh voters in Rajasthan have been removed from the draft voter list. Till now there were a total of 5.46 crore 56 thousand 215 voters in Rajasthan. Now only 5 crore 04 lakh 71 thousand 396 voters are left.

Names of so many voters deleted in Goa

There were 11 lakh 85 thousand 34 voters in Goa, out of which names of 1 lakh voters were removed from the draft voter list. Now 10 lakh 84 thousand 992 people are left in the state.

Names of so many voters deleted in Lakshadweep

The SIR process started in Lakshadweep from 4 November and continued till 11 December. Out of 57 thousand 813, 56 thousand 384 people submitted their forms. Names of 1429 people have been removed from the new draft list. Eligible voters can again apply to add their names to the voter list till January 15, 2026.
