However, recently their relationship seems to be deteriorating. Lawrence’s younger brother Anmol Bishnoi, who was recently extradited from the US, has said that Bhatti’s men could kill him in India. This month, after a grenade was thrown at the gate of a police station in Rania in Haryana’s Sirsa district, Shehzad Bhatti claimed responsibility. He said in a Facebook post that the police station supports his rival Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Shahzad’s name also came up in the Gurdaspur blast in Punjab. There are three people arrested by Delhi Police. Vikas Prajapati alias Betu, 19, resident of Datia, Madhya Pradesh, Hargunpreet Singh alias Gurkaranpreet Singh, 19, resident of Firozpur, Punjab and Asif alias Arish, 22, resident of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. His name had come up during interrogation of these people. Police seized a semi-automatic pistol, 10 live cartridges and mobile phones from him, which had objectionable chats and recce videos. Since then, Shehzad Bhatti is also on the radar of Delhi Police.
