Mixed signals from global market, bullish trend in Asia

New Delhi. Mixed signals are being received from the global market today. US markets closed with mixed results during the last session. Dow Johns Futures seems to be trading strongly today. There was a continuous downward trend in European markets during the last session. At the same time, Asian markets are generally showing strength today.

US markets remained under pressure during the last session due to weak jobs data. Dow Jones closed with a weakness of 300 points. Similarly, the S&P 500 index closed at 6,806.72 points with weakness for the third consecutive trading day.

The index ended the previous session with a decline of 0.14 percent. In contrast, Nasdaq closed at 23,134.08 points with a gain of 0.33 percent. Dow Johns Futures is currently seen trading at the level of 48,196.76 points with a rise of 0.17 percent.

There was continuous selling pressure in the European market during the last session. The FTSE index closed at 9,684.79 points with a weakness of 0.69 percent. Similarly, the CAC index fell 0.23 percent and ended the last session’s trading at the level of 8,106.16 points. Apart from this, DAX index closed at the level of 24,076.87 points with a decline of 153.5 04 points or 0.64 percent.

There is a generally bullish atmosphere in the Asian market today. The indices of eight out of nine markets in Asia are trading firmly in the green, while one index remains in the red with a decline. The only Straits Times Index in the Asian market is currently trading at the level of 4,568.06 points with a weakness of 0.25 percent.

On the other hand, GIFT Nifty is trading at the level of 25,928 points with a slight rise of 0.05 points. Similarly, Nikkei index has reached the level of 49,450 points with a strength of 0.14 percent. Kospi index is showing strong rise for the third consecutive trading day today. At present this index has jumped 0.96 percent and is trading at the level of 4,037.67 points.

Similarly, Taiwan Weighted Index is trading at the level of 27,732.97 points with a jump of 196.31 points or 0.71 percent. Apart from this, Jakarta Composite Index gained 0.27 percent to 8,710.15 points, SET Composite Index gained 0.26 percent to 1,263.95 points, Hang Seng Index gained 0.21 percent to 25,288 points and Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.17 percent to 3,831.43. Are trading at points level.
