Tata Motors: The Tata Group on Tuesday honored members of the World Cup-winning Indian women’s cricket team by gifting each of the players a newly introduced SUV, the Sierra. Tata Motors fulfilled its promise by commemorating the victory of Indian women cricket players. The company has gifted a new Tata Sierra SUV to every player of the team. This SUV was launched just a few weeks ago and has now slowly started reaching dealerships.

Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran compared the achievement of women cricket players to the men’s team winning the Cricket World Cup in 1983. He said that the children of the new generation will always remember November 2, 2025 as a milestone.
The winning team was felicitated at Bombay House, the headquarters of the conglomerate that ranges from salt to software. Chandrasekaran and top officials of its automobile arm Tata Motors were present on the occasion.
