Kiran Kumar made his directorial debut with Kedi (2010), starring Nagarjuna in the lead role. On several occasions, KK expressed his gratitude to Nagarjuna for giving him his first opportunity as a director. Nearly 15 years after Kedi, he returned with KJQ, but sadly, he passed away without witnessing the film’s release in theatres.
Interestingly, filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga — who rose to prominence with Arjun Reddy and Animal and is currently working on Spirit starring Prabhas — had earlier worked with KK as an assistant director.
