Rajasthan Royals signed nine players during the Indian Premier League 2026 auction in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
The Royals spend nearly half of their purse on buying Ravi Bishnoi, using up Rs. 7.20 crore to get the leg spinner, who should walk right into their playing XII.

RR had already shook up its playing combination by trading former captain Sanju Samson for Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran from Chennai Super Kings ahead of the auction.
The addition of these two all-rounders should give the Royals lineup a far-greater balance that what they had in the 2025 season.
RR’s top-order looks settled with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi set to continue as openers. Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer will resume in the middle-order and will be backed by the addition of Jadeja and Curran.
While Bishnoi will take up the role of lead spinner, Jofra Archer is expected to head the Royals pace attack.
Having an all-Indian top-order allows Rajasthan Royals the freedom to work with the fourth overseas spot. It can strengthen its pace attack by bringing in Nandre Burger or Kwena Maphaka or the newly signed Adam Milne. It can also add an extra batter – either Donovan Ferreira or Lhuan-Dre Pretorius.
