From Prithvi Shaw to Liam Livingstone, big players were not sold in the IPL 2026 defeat Gujarati

The IPL 2026 deal has proved to be a dark one, with Cameron Green becoming the most expensive foreign player in the history of the deal, while many leading stars have remained unsold. In-form Indian batsman Sarfaraz Khan also remained unbeaten, while speculations about Liam Livingstone’s ability in the defeat were proved wrong. Livingstone also remained unsold in the first round of Harajina.

The most surprising name in the list of players who have not been sold is that of England’s Liam Livingstone, because he is a big international star and many teams needed an all-rounder. However, no team has bid for him. Livingstone had kept his base price at ₹ 2 crore.

On the other hand, Sarfaraz Khan and Prithvi Show were among the first names in the list, yet they did not find any buyer. The base price of both the Indian batsmen was Rs 75 lakh. Devon Conway and England’s experienced batsman Jonny Bairstow also did not find any buyer.
