Dhaka. A fire broke out in a multi-storey warehouse in Islambagh area of Old Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. There are many buildings near this warehouse surrounded by fire. The warehouse that caught fire first was completely destroyed.
According to reports by Dhaka Tribune and The Daily Star, the fire department and civil defense control room said that 11 fire tenders were dispatched as soon as the information was received. A fire department official says the fire has spread to at least four other warehouses. Efforts are being made to extinguish the fire. Control Room Duty Officer Rozina Islam said that efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing.
