2026 MG Hector Facelift: MG Motor India has today announced the launch of the new 2026 MG Hector facelift in the Indian market, with a starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Available in both 6- and 7-seat configurations, the price of the updated MG Hector Plus has also been announced, starting at Rs 17.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

At present, the company has announced the prices of only the petrol variants, while the prices of the diesel variants will be announced in 2026. Interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting the company’s official website.
delivery and competition
Deliveries are expected to begin soon. It will compete with Tata Harrier, Safari, Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar and other rival vehicles in the segment.
engine options
Mechanically, there are no changes. It is available with the same two engine options as before, a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol engine that produces 143hp and 250Nm of power, and comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. The second engine is a Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre turbo diesel that produces 170hp and 350Nm, and comes only with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
